The surface, made from high-quality linoleum, is certified as climate-positive thanks to the combination of raw materials that sequester CO₂ whilst growing and the use of renewable energy – all without the need for compensation (see Forbo certificate). Colors
Linoleum doors from RWD Schlatter open up new design freedom. All colours from the Forbo range can be applied directly to the surface. This means that linoleum doors can be precisely matched to floor coverings, furniture or walls - for a harmonious, consistent colour concept in the interior. The matt, colour-fast surface remains permanently attractive even with heavy use and expands the possibilities of modern interior design.
Climate-positive production
Furniture linoleum, as used in Linolea doors, is one of the few floor and surface materials with a climate-positive footprint (see Forbo’s certificate). Up to 98 % of its ingredients come from natural or mineral sources. Over three-quarters of the raw materials used are renewable within a few years.
Surface comfort
Linoleum impresses with its pleasantly warm and natural feel. The matt, antistatic surface is easy to clean, visibly reduces fingerprints and also has an antibacterial effect - ideal for highly frequented and hygienically sensitive areas.
Material
Linoleum consists of up to 98 per cent natural raw materials such as linseed oil, wood flour, cork, jute fabric and limestone. These parts not only make linoleum particularly environmentally friendly, but also give it a unique feel and appearance. When used as a surface on doors, linoleum brings a warm, matt finish to the room and creates a junction between nature and architecture.
Maintenance
Linolea doors from RWD Schlatter combine high-quality design with functional durability. To ensure that the door functions reliably over the long term, it is advisable to check the technical components regularly. These include door hinges, locksmiths and locking systems, which should be checked at defined intervals and readjusted or lightly oiled as needed. Environmental protection
We ensure that our production processes are resource-efficient and environmentally responsible. On request, we use materials such as PEFC-certified wood. This is complemented by energy-efficient production and the systematic recycling of all waste generated. RWD Schlatter attaches great importance to acting in an environmentally responsible manner – at every stage of the manufacturing process.
