Unpaid vacation

It is possible to take unpaid leave, provided this has been approved in writing by the direct superior and HR business partner.

Wages

In November, a year-end bonus is paid in the amount of one month's salary. If the employment relationship has not lasted the whole year, the bonus is paid pro rata temporis.

Maternity leave

RWD Schlatter supplements the mandatory 14 weeks of maternity leave from 14 to 16 weeks and pays 100% of the salary (depending on length of service).

Z'Nüni Beck comes by every day. All employees can eat at the Arbonia AG canteen at a reduced rate. There are frozen meals on location, which can be eaten in the internal lounge.

RWD Schlatter is the leading Swiss full-service provider for design and functional doors. The Thurgau-based company produces blanks and customised door-sets. The focus is on security functions such as fire, sound and burglary protection as well as high-quality accessories and door components such as wood, steel and aluminium frames. With over 140 years of experience, RWD Schlatter stands for sustainable and high-quality complete solutions and provides its clients with expert support and advice throughout the entire construction process.

With around 200 employees and regional branches in Dietikon ZH, Taverne TI and Jongny VD, RWD Schlatter covers the entire value chain - from development and production through to erection, maintenance and service. A central element of this is the specially developed service portal, which digitalises all processes and enables efficient, customer-oriented handling.

RWD Schlatter produces round 80,000 customised doors every year in its highly automated production facility at its headquarters in Roggwil TG. The company has been part of the Arbonia Group, based in Arbonia TG, since 2007.

Claudia’s passions are yodelling, travelling to tropical countries and her dog Chili, who keeps her on her toes. As well as her role at RWD Schlatter AG, she is a qualified colour and style consultant and serves on the board of the ZbW. She doesn’t like talking on the phone, preferring face-to-face conversations. Her family and friends know this and have come to terms with these spontaneous get-togethers. She’s been hooked on mocha yoghurts since childhood.

At RWDS, she appreciates the open and direct communication, as well as the friendly, family-like atmosphere. The short lines of communication, flat hierarchy and straightforward working relationships make collaboration much easier. Jasmin is a mum of two and enjoys spending time outdoors in nature with them. She can’t walk past a bookshop without popping in, because when she has a choice between two books, she always ends up buying both. Music and concerts are also among her passions. Jasmin likes her daily routine to be organised and to know what’s on the agenda for the day. With young children, however, this can sometimes be a real challenge.

At RWD Schlatter, she likes the family-like atmosphere, the straightforward working relationships and the simple, direct communication. The openness to part-time work makes it easier to balance family and career. It’s simply fun to work at RWD Schlatter!

Jasmina is a family person through and through. As a mum, spending time with her family is now the focus of her free time. Whether at the playground, on a walk in the countryside or during a cosy get-together – she cherishes the moments, big and small, that make everyday life special. She loves to round off the day with good food, music and time with her loved ones.
