The commercial building at Poststrasse 5–7 in Zurich is currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment. The aim of the renovation is to transform the building – which has become rather haphazard over the years due to various individual alterations – into a space offering flexible, versatile use for the future. The planned mixed-use development will feature retail space in the basement, ground floor and first floor, whilst offices and residential units are to be created on the upper floors. Particular attention is being paid to the preservation of historical features such as stucco ceilings and domed vaults.
