The restoration of the iconic Hardau II housing estate maintains its 1970s brutalist character. Architecturally, the focus is on maintaining the striking red exposed concrete through manual reprofiling, as well as reusing the original lighting and signage. From a technical perspective, the flats are being modernised, the curtain walls repaired, and the multi-storey car parks and sewerage system comprehensively renewed.
