On the south bank of the Rhine in Rheinfelden, the former site of the Cardinal brewery, formerly Salmenbräu, has been redeveloped with apartments, stores, offices and apartments for older people. In particular, the Malzturm tower has been maintained, in which nine spectacular lofts have been created.
