We were able to supply 1,200 customised door elements for the architecturally and functionally sophisticated new building project at the Zurich Children's Hospital. The doors fulfil a wide range of requirements: On the 2nd floor, the patient rooms, particularly aesthetic door solutions with high-quality wood panelling and magnetic surfaces were used. In other areas, functional doors provide fire protection, sound insulation, escape route security, climate protection and radiation protection. All precisely tailored to the requirements of modern hospital operations. 700 doors were fitted with a robust polyurethane edge. They are seamlessly sealed, resistant and particularly durable.

Functional doors
Functional doors must meet the highest requirements in terms of security, smoke, fire, sound, burglary, climate and escape route protection, while also being aesthetically pleasing. At RWD Schlatter, we combine innovative technology with precise workmanship and high-quality design. Whether for homes, offices or public buildings: our doors offer tailor-made solutions for every requirement. You can rely on Swiss quality that perfectly combines functionality and aesthetics.
Fire and smoke protection doors
Our fire and smoke protection doors not only offer you protection against fire and smoke, but also combine outstanding quality and modern design. At RWD Schlatter, we rely on innovative technologies and precise workmanship to create doors that provide reliable protection in an emergency and are aesthetically integrated into your rooms at the same time.
Soundproof doors
Soundproof doors are functional doors that reduce the transmission of sound between different rooms or from the outside into the building and have a sound-insulating effect. Due to denser construction, increasing population density and the growing importance of working from home, the requirements for structural sound insulation are constantly increasing. In many cases, legal requirements also demand tested sound insulation. RWD Schlatter has extensive expertise in the field of sound insulation. Thanks to the company's own sound test bench, door elements can be tested and optimized.
