We used different door solutions at the Ruby Mimi Hotel Zurich. The aim was to combine security, convenience and design in this hotel project. We delivered a total of 300 doors for hotel rooms and the staircase. These include designer room doors, smoke and fire protection doors, escape route doors, soundproof doors and the steel frames consistent with them.

The two-tone hotel room doors are a particular eye-catcher: white on the inside, anthracite on the outside. In combination with two-tone steel frames, the result is a solution that is both optical and fulfils high security and resistance requirements.

Design doors

Designer doors set stylish accents in the interior and combine aesthetics with functionality. Whether robust CPL/HPL doors for everyday use, natural linoleum surfaces with a velvety feel, modern doors with high-gloss acrylic glass or elegant veneer doors made of real wood - each variant has its own character. Colors, textures and materials can be individually selected and matched to the room concept. The result is doors that not only separate, but also create.

Veneer doors

Veneer doors combine modern door design with the natural look of real wood. A thin layer of high-quality veneer is applied to stable substrates and finished with oils, stains, glazes, etc. This gives each door a unique grain and feel - from calm and harmonious to lively and striking. Soundproof doors
Customised, double-leaf soundproof door in a restaurant
This double-leaf soundproof door was customised for a restaurant in Europa-Park. It fulfils the highest requirements for sound insulation and design.

Soundproof doors are functional doors that reduce the transmission of sound between different rooms or from the outside into the building and have a sound-insulating effect. Due to denser construction, increasing population density and the growing importance of working from home, the requirements for structural sound insulation are constantly increasing. In many cases, legal requirements also demand tested sound insulation. RWD Schlatter has extensive expertise in the field of sound insulation. Thanks to the company's own sound test bench, door elements can be tested and optimized.
