The new parents’ house on Bleulerstrasse in Zurich is due to have its finish by summer 2026. KLP Architekten SIA are designing a building with 20 parents’ rooms, communal areas, a kitchen, a playroom and a garden. The project is being commissioned by the Swiss Epilepsy Foundation, with support from the Children’s Hospital Zurich and the Ronald McDonald Children’s Foundation. The centre offers families of seriously ill children a ‘temporary home’ in the immediate vicinity of the Children’s Hospital.
