The Stöckli Uetikon retirement homes cooperative was founded in 1975. It has around 300 members who either live in the flats themselves or support the aims of the cooperative through their membership. The board of directors consists of Uetikon residents.
Today, the cooperative owns 51 flats in two housing estates built in 1975 and 2006, which it rents out to senior citizens at cost.
