Impressions of HOLZ 2025
New brand image with strong design innovations
With its new brand identity, Arbonia is bundling its door expertise under a uniform name. The company's presence at the trade fair in Basel was the first time that this alignment became visible. With around 30,000 visitors a year, HOLZ is one of the most important platforms for the Swiss woodworking industry. Arbonia used this platform to present its wide range of functional doors, designer doors and door components. During the four days of the trade fair, Arbonia presented the two new design doors Linolea with a linoleum surface and Acrilea with an acrylic glass surface at its stand. The exhibited range was complemented by an all-glass door with a smoked glass look, a veneer door including a wooden frame made of expressive olive wood. The focus was also on a hard-wearing, easy-care functional door with an HPL surface in a modern concrete look. This door was fitted with a robust PU edge and shown together with a steel push-in frame with hospital rebate. High-quality aluminium frames were also on display at the Arbonia stand at the Holz Messe.
Linolea, the designer door with a linoleum surface
Linoleum enables a consistent material design in the interior - from floors to furniture to doors. The natural material made from renewable raw materials such as linseed oil, cork and wood flour as well as limestone powder is environmentally friendly, biodegradable and CO₂-neutral. With a material thickness of 2 mm, it is hard-wearing, durable and easy to clean. Linoleum is antistatic, hygienic and bacteria-inhibiting, and fingerprints remain largely invisible. The warm feel and wide range of colours open up numerous design possibilities. Thanks to its unique material properties, all surfaces in the room can be covered with linoleum - for a consistent and harmonious design. Linolea, the designer door made of linoleum, fits seamlessly into this concept and combines sustainability, style and functionality.
Acrilea, the designer door with an acrylic glass surface
Acrylic glass enables elegant, high-gloss material design in interiors - from furniture to doors. It consists of the purest methyl methacrylate monomers, is durable, fully recyclable and impresses with its high scratch resistance and chemical resistance. With a material thickness of 8 mm to 300 mm, it offers a wide range of applications. Acrylic glass is UV-resistant and comes with a 10-year guarantee for outdoor use. Inlays create fascinating 3D effects that uniquely emphasise light and reflections. The brilliant appearance and depth effect set modern design accents and open up new creative possibilities. Acrilea, the designer door made of acrylic glass, combines innovative aesthetics, exclusivity and high resistance.
All-glass door in Smoked Grey
All-glass doors create a modern combination of transparency, lightness and privacy. They are ideal for living spaces, where they serve as elegant partitions, as well as for commercial applications such as meeting rooms, reception areas, etc. The lightly tinted glass of the flared all-glass door in Smoked Grey provides privacy without compromising the openness of the room. This makes rooms appear larger and brighter. A wide range of fittings, high-quality door handles and matching accessories offer a variety of options for customising Arbonia glass doors.
Functional door with HPL surface in concrete look
The flared functional door with HPL surface combines high durability with contemporary design. Its easy-care, particularly resilient surface in a modern concrete look fulfils both functional and aesthetic requirements. The door is equipped with a hard-wearing PU edge and is presented in combination with a steel push-in frame with hospital rebate. It is ideal for highly frequented buildings such as hospitals, schools or public facilities where security, durability and design are required.
Aluminium frames, slim profiles for sophisticated architecture
The aluminium frames from the Küffner range combine elegant design with high functionality. Their slim, end-treated profiles are available in various anodised shades and powder-coated in RAL, DB or NCS colours. They therefore offer a wide range of design options for modern interiors. Aluminium is easy to clean, does not rust and is particularly durable. The frames are ideal for use in combination with fire and soundproof doors and fulfil the highest technical and design requirements in equal measure.
Veneer door made of olive wood
The veneer door with solid wooden frame and a surface made of real olive wood brings the warmth and vibrancy of a natural material into the interior. The characterful grain of the olive wood gives the door an unmistakable appearance and makes it an individual design element.
